Arabia/Arabia/Ruska/Ruska/Egg Cup

Introducing an egg cup from the Arabia/Ruska series.
Ruska means autumn leaves or autumn colors.
By using a special glaze, it has various shades such as ocher, reddish-brown, and dark brown. It is a work that has a warm atmosphere, similar to Bizen ware, a type of Japanese ceramic.
The Ruska series was developed in 1960-61 as a durable stoneware product that could be used in the oven, inspired by a new modern lifestyle. The design was by Ulla Procope. Although Procope passed away in 1968, the Ruska series was launched globally by Arabia shortly after.
The special glaze gives it a matte texture and a unique charm to each piece.
Most Ruska pieces have lost their backstamp, but this one still has it clearly.
