Introducing a jam pot from Arabia's Pomona series, well-known even in Japan.
This jam pot was manufactured between 1965 and 1975.
The designer is Raija Uosikkinen.
In Scandinavia, various berries picked during the short summer are made into jam and carefully preserved to be eaten during the winter, recalling the summer days.
Eating berries from this pot during the long, dark winter can lift your spirits.
Pomona features nine different patterns: strawberry, blueberry, lingonberry, gooseberry, plum, orange, honey, currant, and apple.
This is a rare gooseberry pattern jam pot, which is not often seen, and comes with a lid. It is the larger size pot.

(Condition): Imperfect. There is a discolored area with a crack in one spot. The lid is very clean. The decor has some faded areas. Otherwise, it is in good vintage condition with luster.
