Introducing the Korpi demitasse cup and saucer from Arabia.
This cup and saucer features a lovely matte texture and finish reminiscent of Ruska's glaze. The design is by Göran Bäck, known for his stencil retro cups and saucers such as Pop.
This particular item was designed for hotels and restaurants and is characterized by its stackable design.
The deep blue color with black layered over it gives it a look similar to traditional Japanese ceramics, making it very charming.
It was manufactured for a very short period from 1973-74, so it's a series that doesn't often appear on the market.
