Arabia/Arabia/Helja Liukko-Sundström/Helja Liukko-Sundström/Ceramic tile

Introducing a ceramic plate from Arabia/Arabia, impressively adorned with red bleeding heart flowers. The design is by Helja Liukko Sundström. She joined Arabia in 1962 and moved to the art department in 1967, where she created many ceramic plates. By around 2000, she had produced nearly 200 different works. Her motifs combine Finnish nature, wild flowers, buildings, and animals, with rabbits and penguins being particularly common. Her works are highly artistic with a charming fairy-tale touch. This ceramic plate is very rare, as its frame is also ceramic and three-dimensional, making it resemble a single painting.
