Arabia/Atelje/Helja Liukko-Sundström/Ceramic Plaque/Skier

Introducing a small ceramic art tile from Arabia, perfect for wall decoration.
The design is by Helja Liukko-Sundström.
She joined Arabia in 1962, moved to the art department in 1967, and created many ceramic art tiles. By around 2000, she had produced nearly 200 different works.
Her motifs combine Finnish nature, wildflowers, buildings, and animals, with rabbits and penguins being particularly common. Her art is highly artistic with a charming fairy-tale touch.
This is an impressive and wonderful ceramic tile made in her atelier, where, when viewed from a distance, a person skiing appears to emerge.
