Majolica is an antique ceramic ware originating in Italy in the 1600s, characterized by colorful reliefs, and arrived in Sweden in the 1800s.
This is a Rorstrand plate, and majolica pieces from Gustavsberg were also popular, so they were likely sold by various manufacturers.
This particular plate is an antique plate with a lovely design of colorful flowers and leaves on a blue background.
It appears to have been used as a fruit plate, but it is also an excellent artistic work, so I think it would be wonderful to display it in a room.
