This is a set of two doilies: one featuring a cornflower design in very fine cross-stitch embroidery, and the other made with the Hardanger embroidery technique.
The Hardanger embroidered doily is blue, matching the blue of the cornflowers.
Since they are square, they should be very easy to use. Both were made with great care and took a lot of time to create.
