This is a vintage embroidered table runner made using the Näversöm technique. Näversöm originated in northern Sweden in the 1600s.
When placed on a wooden surface, the sheer Näversöm doily beautifully highlights its pattern. This piece was created with great care and required a significant amount of time to complete.
The color is an unbleached beige.
