Framed Flemish Weaving with Snowdrop Motif, Traditional Nordic Handicraft

Introducing Flemish weaving, a traditional Swedish handicraft. This textile is said to have originated in the Middle Ages. The motif is Blåsippa, known in Japan as snow buttercup or Hepatica. It's a lovely flower that begins to bloom in early spring when the cold still lingers. It is beautifully framed in a white wooden frame, so you can enjoy displaying it as is in your room. This is a very time-consuming piece that has been set into a frame for presentation.
