Introducing a bird objet d'art, meticulously crafted to capture the essence of a small bird. Each piece is carefully finished with attention to the clay, glaze, and firing process.
The design is by Gunna Hansson, a ceramic artist.
He was born in Lomma, southern Sweden, in 1913, and passed away in 2007.
He owned his own workshop and created many birds and owls.
This exquisite piece depicts a small bird that looks as if it could take flight at any moment. The body features a light blue glaze. The contrast between the blue on the wings and head and the black is truly beautiful.
