We're introducing bird objects that capture the characteristics of small birds and are intricately crafted. Each piece is carefully finished with attention to detail in the clay, glaze, and firing process.
The designer is Gunna Hansson, a ceramic artist.
He was born in Lomma, southern Sweden, in 1913 and passed away in 2007.
He had his own studio and created many birds and owls.
The birds look so alive that they seem like they could start moving at any moment. This particular piece is entirely glazed, with a light yellow body and a bluish-black head.
