This is a set of three vintage embroidered doilies made with the Näversöm technique and crocheted lace. Näversöm originated in northern Sweden in the 1600s.
The translucent Näversöm doilies beautifully display their patterns when placed on a desk with a wood grain. Their square shape makes them very versatile. Both are painstakingly made works that took a lot of time to create.
The color is unbleached white. This is a great value set of three.
