Traditional Scandinavian Craft / Näversöm / Näversöm / Tablecloth / Set of 2

This is a set of three vintage embroidered doilies and crocheted lace, made using the Näversöm technique. Näversöm originated in Northern Sweden in the 1600s.
The translucent Näversöm doilies beautifully highlight their patterns when placed on a wooden-grained table. Their square shape makes them very versatile. Both pieces are meticulously crafted and took a significant amount of time to create.
The colors are off-white and beige. This is a special set of two pieces.
