Traditional Scandinavian Handicraft/Tvistsöm/Twist Embroidery/Cushion

This is a handmade embroidered cushion in a traditional Nordic design.
It is a wonderful piece made using a technique called Tvistsöm embroidery, requiring a great deal of time and effort to create.
The traditional pattern in shades of green, brick, and blue is calming and very lovely. This oblong cushion is perfect for supporting the lower back when sitting, fitting comfortably into the curve of the spine. The fringes are double and loop-shaped.
