Northern European Christmas / candle stand / Santa Claus astride a star

This is a very humorous candle holder from the mini candle series, featuring Santa Claus straddling a star. The back view is simply adorable. We are introducing various mini candle holders this time, and both are hand-painted candle holders exported from Japan in the early 1900s. At that time, Japanese hand-painted cups & saucers and Christmas ornaments were very popular among people in Europe and Sweden. Since these items were not sold in Japan, they are very rare. We will include candles that fit this holder. We have two in stock.
